Question 1

Where can I find vacation rentals in Park City with KBM Resorts?

Accepted Answer

KBM Resorts lists Park City vacation rentals at condo and townhome communities in three main areas. In Deer Valley: Black Bear Lodge, Boulder Creek, Bristlecone, In The Trees, Ridgepoint, The Lookout and The Mason. Around Canyons Village: Hidden Creek, Red Pine, Timber Wolf Lodge and Vintage on the Strand. Near Main Street and Park City Mountain: Lift Lodge, Town Pointe and Copperbottom Inn, plus Chatham Crossing on the free city shuttle route. Choose a community on this page, enter your dates, and book direct with KBM Resorts.

Question 2

What kinds of Park City vacation rentals does KBM Resorts have?

Accepted Answer

KBM Resorts rents condos, townhomes and larger homes, each a whole unit with its own kitchen rather than a single room. The resort descriptions show the range: Copperbottom Inn has one-bedroom condos, Black Bear Lodge has one- to four-bedroom condominiums, Boulder Creek has two-, three- and four-bedroom townhomes, In The Trees has four-bedroom townhomes, and Bristlecone has three- to five-bedroom condominiums. The bedroom links above filter the list by size.

Question 3

Does KBM Resorts rent hotel rooms in Park City?

Accepted Answer

No. KBM Resorts does not list hotel rooms in Park City. It rents condos, townhomes and homes, so you get a full kitchen and living space instead of a single room. Names with Lodge or Inn, such as Black Bear Lodge and Copperbottom Inn, are listed as condominiums. If you want a vacation rental in Park City rather than a hotel, browse the communities on this page.

Question 4

Does KBM Resorts offer Park City holiday rentals for Christmas and New Year's?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Enter your Christmas or New Year's dates on any community page to see which condos, townhomes and homes are open for those nights and the rate for them. KBM prices Christmas and New Year's weeks as their own seasons, so the rate you see is for those exact nights. Book direct with KBM Resorts, and ask KBM concierge about ski rentals, lift tickets and dining for your stay.

Question 5

What ski resorts are near Park City vacation rentals?

Accepted Answer

Park City is home to three world-class ski resorts all within minutes of KBM properties. Deer Valley Resort is known for immaculate grooming and exceptional service. Park City Mountain Resort is the largest ski resort in the United States by acreage, offering terrain for every skill level across Canyons Village and the historic Park City side. Woodward Park City is newer and geared toward freestyle terrain parks and all-mountain progression. All three resorts are connected or close enough to ski in a single trip. Many KBM Park City properties offer true ski-in/ski-out access or are a short shuttle ride from the lifts. Contact KBM concierge to arrange lift tickets, ski rentals, and lessons before your arrival.

Question 6

When is the best time to visit Park City?

Accepted Answer

Park City is genuinely a four-season destination with two distinct peak windows. Winter from December through March is the primary ski season, with Park City averaging over 350 inches of annual snowfall. January and February deliver the deepest powder days, while March offers longer daylight with excellent snow conditions. Summer from June through September has become nearly as popular — temperatures stay between 65 and 80 degrees, and the trails used for skiing become world-class mountain biking and hiking paths. The Utah Olympic Park offers year-round bobsled rides and aerial skiing training. The Sundance Film Festival in late January brings a lively cultural atmosphere. Fall (September–October) offers peak foliage and uncrowded trails at the best value of the year.

Question 7

Do Park City vacation rentals include ski access?

Accepted Answer

Ski access varies by community and by unit, so check the unit page before you book. KBM's resort descriptions say Black Bear Lodge is a short walk from the Silver Lake Lift, Lift Lodge has immediate access to Park City Mountain through the City Lift, and Hidden Creek is walking distance to the Canyons Cabriolet and the Frostwood Gondola. Ridgepoint has a ski-out trail toward the Snow Park Lodge area of Deer Valley, and KBM notes it is not a true ski-in/ski-out property. Many other communities are near a free Park City bus stop. Use the Ski-In/Ski-Out filter above to see units flagged for ski access.

Question 8

What is the best neighborhood to stay in Park City?

Accepted Answer

It depends on how you want to spend your days. Deer Valley is the ski-focused choice: Boulder Creek, Bristlecone and In The Trees sit in Lower Deer Valley near Snow Park Lodge, Black Bear Lodge and Ridgepoint are in the Silver Lake area, and The Lookout is in Upper Deer Valley. Old Town and Main Street suit guests who want restaurants and shops close by: KBM describes Lift Lodge and Town Pointe as within walking distance of Main Street. Canyons Village suits guests who want the base area at their door: Hidden Creek, Red Pine, Timber Wolf Lodge and Vintage on the Strand are close to Canyons Village. KBM concierge can help match a community to your group.
