Maui 60th birthday dream.

Perfect place for a fam of 4!

Location is perfect. Easy short walking distance to silver lake village! The unit was clean and very organized. Our two teenage boys had more than enough room in the 2 queen beds and the king primary was very comfortable for us. Hot tub always a must after a DV ski day! It was a good temp to relax. Great condo combo for our family ski trip!

This was a great stay for us. The next door condos were cozy and well maintained. It was actually great having two kitchens for our bigger group, the spacious dining tables were appreciated, and the furniture was in good condition. The management company was quick to communicate, helpful and responsive. We loved the location for skiing. It was a very short walk to the slopes that was easy for our kids to do, and right by shops and restaurants. Everyone was very pleased with the setup.

Great location, Incredible views and nice villa

This Kapalua Bay Villa was a nice change of pace from the tourist hubbub of Kaanapali. We loved the updated unit and the photos are very accurate. The ocean view was expansive and we enjoyed great whales watching every day from the unit. It's also perfectly situated for Kapalua Bay walk. There were three pools available for use so they were never crowded. The area has several lovely restaurants with different cuisines and if you are inclined to cook, the kitchen is well equipped. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND booking early as Merriman's and other highly sought after restaurants book months out. We don't golf but there are at least 2 golf courses. We will definitely return.

Absolutely amazing!

We had an amazing stay at KBM Resorts in the Hokulani Tower! Our 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom unit was incredibly clean, spacious, and very comfortable for our family. Everything was well-maintained and thoughtfully set up, making it feel like a true home away from home. The location is fantastic—there’s ample parking which made everything very convenient, and there are plenty of great shops nearby to explore. One of the highlights was having Duke’s Maui just across the way. Being able to walk over for great food and beautiful ocean views was such a treat. The pools were also wonderful—very clean and perfect for kids. Our family spent a lot of time there and the kids absolutely loved it. Another thing we really appreciated was the KBM customer service team. The agents were very responsive and proactive in checking in to make sure everything was going well during our stay. That level of care made the experience even better. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and we made such great family memories. We would absolutely come back and highly recommend KBM Resorts and the Hokulani Tower for families visiting Maui!

Perfect place for family vacation!

We had planned a family vacation in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for my grandson's second birthday. When the cartels made it dangerous to travel there we were devastated and thought our vacation plans were ruined. With only a week to plan i can upon KBM Resorts and the condos they had for rent in Honua Kai. What a find! We rented two condos, 825 and 820 and our vacation was not only saved it was improved. The complex is fantastic, with several pools and the lazy river for fresh water fun and a beautiful beach right in front of the resort for salt water activities. It was crazy how many whales we saw from our balcony and the turtles that we snorkled with at our beach. We used 825 as our central gathering spot for hanging out and 820 (just down the hall) for extra bedrooms. The appliances and amenities included in the condo made it feel like home. Having the food trucks within an 8 minute walk made eating out at night easy and inexpensive without compromising on quality. Try getting reservations for 11 people at a restaurant! Overall it was an amazing experience and we are already talking about when we will be returning.

Best Family Vacation Ever!

My husband and I travelled to Honua Kai with our son and wife and his two young sons (1.5 and 4 years old). Honua Kai 150 was the perfect place for us! The unit is large, well-appointed, clean and bright. We made very good use of this unit's lanai / outdoor kitchen and fenced in grassy area. This unit is located very close to the pools and to the beach (you have views of the ocean from the lanai) and to Duke's. It was wonderful to have such easy access to the property's amenities with two little ones. Checking in and out was a breeze and all communication with KBM and its staff was extremely professional and friendly. We will absolutely use KBM again in the future and look forward to our next visit to Honua Kai.

The location was perfect with a grocery store nearby and the 2.7 mile boardwalk from the Mahana to Whalers Village was great. We spent hours just sitting on our lanai watching the whales - Amazing! My mother and I were here for a conference and also to celebrate her birthday. We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was more beautiful than in the pictures. Gorgeous Location

This condo is a penthouse looking out over the ocean and right on the beach. Coastal decor and comfortable furniture. You can fall asleep listening to the waves, watch whales and turtles from your lanai as good as any boat trip. You have a great view of rainbows on Molokai and sunsets over the water. Well-stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook or grill. Mahana is a quiet place with pool, hot tub, grills, shuffle board and easy parking. There’s a grassy lawn overlooking the beach (you need to walk a little further down for bigger beach access with sandy bottom) with chairs galore. You are right next door to Duke’s restaurant and the Beach Path that goes all the way to Whaler’s Village. KBM is a great company to deal with—easy access to help for any issue and people to call (not bots) with questions about reservations. They maintain their places well and always ask for feedback. Super responsive.

Our stay at KBM Villa was absolutely magical! The panoramic ocean view from our lanai were breathtaking! Our villa was situated in a setting that was truly center stage. This was evident by all of the coastal cliff walkers who looked our way with "thumbs up" and smiles. The villa itself was impeccably clean and luxuriously appointed. After shopping in Wailea/Makawao/Paia, I recognized similar high end interior finishes in our villa. The owners did an amazing job decorating and spared no cost with high end kitchen appliances. We loved our two bedroom condo, it was very clean and comfortable and with a “resort view” we still had a full view of the ocean on the second floor. The resort is very lively but relaxing at the same time. Fun for couples or families. Accommodation was excellent for a family of 6, 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and a half bathroom on the main floor. Showers were both walk-in tiled units, with nice fixtures and lots of hot water. Deck and BBQ were nice with a full propane tank. 2 car garage and also parking for 2 cars in the driveway. Kitchen was nicely equipped with stainless fridge, dishwasher and glass - top stove. There were lot of quality place settings and every kitchen gadget you could imaging. TV was a nice size with television options or streaming available using your own accounts. there were 5 beach chairs and 4 good quality boogie boards and lots of snorkels and masks to use. KBM was very professional from the time I booked this vacation right through to followup communication. Codes for the entrance gate(cars) , garage and front door all worked flawlessly. I was contacted prior to arrival to confirm receipt of emails, and to inquire if I had any questions. Number was provided if any assistance was required 7x24. Service was just amazing.

This property in the Lookout is absolutely fabulous. Lots of places can be nice, it’s the added touches that define luxury. First; the layout. Kids on one floor, adults on the other with plenty of space to spread out and get comfy. Then you get to the amenities: quality linens, bathrobes to keep you warm when you use the hot tub in the snow, every kitchen utensil and version of coffee maker that exists, and a full stereo system (my husband loves to play music all day everyday!). Last but least there’s accessibility. This home is just up the mountain from main street. A 10 minute uber takes you to all the fun while maintaining peace and quiet. There’s a super convenient shuttle that takes you door to door to the Silver Lake Ski Lodge. Then there’s the view. Night or day, it’s magical.

Our Condo was perfect in every way at Wailea Ekahi was a very well appointed 1 bedroom . 2 queen beds . The patio view looked over a jungle like river bed to the Pacific. Swim pool and BBQ area was steps away , which we had a nice steak 1 night. We made 50 % of our meals in the high end kitchen. KBM resorts were over the top in all communications from the beginning. Every individual that contacted us was super responsive and accurate. This makes a big difference. The Location to multiple snorkle areas filled with vast sea life and coral .Oh and those sea turtles of course was walking distance for us. Absolutely a top 5 Vacation and stay for us. Great rental experience

We come to Hawaii every winter, but this was our first time renting from KBM. We have stayed at the Kapalua Golf Villas about 5-6 times before, so we knew the property. Previously we had used another local rental agency and VRBO. The KBM staff's communication and friendliness was superior to both other options. The furnishing of this townhouse was the nicer than any other of the previous townhouses we have stayed at on this property. I was a little bit leery of KBM's offer of an included free rental car. I assumed this rental may be some budget, second rate, off airport location car rental agency. I was pleasantly surprised to find out it was one of the major national car rental brands located on the airport property. The car rental experience was seamless and actually made the trip easier being one less thing to set up before the trip. Would we rent from KBM in the future, absolutely. Matter of fact, we most likely will just go straight to their website to book our next trip.

What a view!

This was a return stay for 2 couples. The unit is large enough and the kitchen is well equipped. The best space is the lanai. It’s where we spent most of our time. It is large, with both covered and uncovered areas. The view is terrific and the outdoor furniture is plentiful and comfortable. It is a downstairs unit so there can be some noise from the neighbors off and on. Elua is a beautiful resort. The landscaping is gorgeous and the swimming pools are well kept….and the ocean/beach is just a few steps away. We hope to return next year.

Great Studio with awesome views!

My daughter and I stayed in a studio ocean view unit at Honua Kai for a week. The resort was very well maintained. The unit had everything needed, including a washer and dryer, and a good-sized kitchen that was well stocked, and the appliances were all new. KBM was great to work with for the entire process. They communicated everything well in advance of our trip, so there were no surprises. Our unit even came with a free rental car for the week which was a huge savings! I highly recommend KBM and will be using them for future vacations!

Best Hawaii experience

From start to finish Honua Kai didn’t disappoint. Our flight got in late and after a 40 minute drive from the airport and waiting for two hours for a rental car pulling up to the bell desk was by far a breath of fresh air. They handled the check in from the car and helped us on how to get to the parking garage and offered to help with the luggage. The most remarkable part is when I couldn’t get into the garage the same bell hop gentleman ran over to help me as it was pouring rain. I haven’t had an experience like I’ve had at Honua Kai anywhere else. I’m sold on coming here year after year. Truly the most amazing experience ever. They really displayed the island culture and spirit. The room was as well taken care of. Spotless and lots of amities which saved me money. They had beach chairs, umbrella and a cooler which was all well used. All the appliances and utensils were clear and looked new! Tons of towels and extra bedding which was a bonus. Honua Kai might be a little expensive but honestly you can’t beat it. Dukes restaurant is right at the door step with an easy reservation when coming off the beach. This gave enough time to shower and get ready for dinner. Saw tons of whales and turtles. Even save the rare monk seal sun bathing. Next year the whole family is coming and we are excited to share our experience with them and starting a tradition. Thank you again Honua Kai and the dream team. Mahalo

Great for a multi-family reunion with kids!

Our stay was excellent! Highly recommend. It was clean, beds were very comfortable, views were amazing, and little touches were great, like washing machine tabs, beach gear, coffee, etc. The property itself was great, too! We have stayed multiple times in different Bay Villas and this stay did not disappoint. We enjoy having some more space and the option to cook dinner compared to a hotel room. This unit was quiet, safe and clean; it could use a few more kitchen tools and staples but this wasn’t a big problem. Washing machine and dryer worked well. Bed overall comfortable. Ceiling fans help generate a nice breeze throughout. Parking was easy. Nice walking options to rest of Kapalua and Merriman’s. We will certainly return to the property and would consider this unit again.
